Nothing is More Integral to Culture Than Language.

When a language is no longer spoken, a large part of its culture is lost. The nuances contained within a language effect everything from storytelling and interpersonal interactions, to the way that the world is seen by the people that speak it. Language relays the importance that is placed upon particular objects, places, and things.
