2022 Ndakinna Harvest Celebration

::Pre-Registration For This Event is Now Over::
Join us September 17th for the 2022 Ndakinna Harvest Celebration! Running from 12:00-5:00 PM. The celebration will feature a Traditional Haudenosaunee Opening Ceremony by Tom Porter, performances by the Haudenosaunee Singers and Dancers, and storytelling by Kay Ionataiewas Olan, along with Ndakinna’s own James and Joseph Bruchac. Tom Porter will finish the afternoon off with a Traditional Haudenosaunee Closing Ceremony.
Fun for all ages, space will be limited, and reservations are recommended. The event has a suggested donation of $5. While pre-registrations have ended, day of guests are welcome, though space is limited. Further registrations do not guarantee a spot.
Schedule as follows:
Noon: Opening by Tom Sakokwenionkwas Porter “Words Before All others”
12:30: Welcome and greeting song by Joseph and James Bruchac
1 PM: Haudenosaunee Singers and Dancers (30-40 minutes)
2 PM: Storytelling by Kay Ionataiewas Olan (30-40 minutes), Joseph and James Bruchac (30 minutes)
3 PM: Film Screening
3:15 PM: Trail Walk, time to visit vendors
4 PM: Haudenosaunee Singers and Dancers (30-40 minutes)
5 PM: Closing Words by Tom Sakokwenionkwas Porter
