Author Talk with Melissa Otis: Rural Indigenousness: A History of Iroquoian and Algonquian Peoples of the Adirondacks
April 13, 2019 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Join us for an evening book reading, signing, and panel discussion with Melissa Otis, author of Rural Indigenousness: A History of Iroquoian and Algonquian Peoples of the Adirondacks. Joining Otis for a panel discussion of the book will be Abenaki authors Joe Bruchac, and his sister Margaret Bruchac. Margaret Bruchac has recently released Savage Kin, which will also be available for sale and signing. We’re also glad to welcome back Northshire Books! They will have copies of both books and more available for the evening.
This event launches our new book club and presentation series, NAIL-IT (Native American and Indigenous Literature). We’re still in the process of figuring out all of the details for the bookclub, but stay tuned for more information.
