Intro to Abenaki Language (Online)

Ndakinna Education Center Abenaki Language Remote Learning Classes:
Intro to Abenaki: Open to all levels with a focus on essential conversational phrases. Open to the entire family, with the first 1/2 hour of each class specifically focused on children’s learning activities. Learning by Immersion, Games, Songs, Stories and Culture!
Classes include access to the Ndakinna Course Hub on Canvas, with the class schedule, quizzes, activities, and other asynchronous learning tools. There is also bonus access to all our class materials from all sections, a private email server to communicate with other students and faculty, and much more.
This is a 4 week course consisting of online classes taking place September 6th to the 30th. Each week, the class will take place Monday evening from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. For those that can’t make an evening class, course material will be repeated in the evening on Tuesday from 10:00am to 12:00 PM The class will include a Certificate of Completion for students, and is recommended for anyone wishing to continue on to our Beginner Course.
Minimum 10 person class, maximum 25.
Suggested Donation: $175 Standard Level, $250 Donation Level. Scholarships Available, Open to All
Additional Open Review and Immersion Classes Available for Attendees!: Thursday 6:00 pm-8:00pm,
We encourage you to attend these review classes as your schedule permits. These open reviews are lead by certified Abenaki Language Instructors.
Thursday nights from 6:00-8:00 pm is a community event and game night open to our Intro class. The evenings are topic based, with conversations only in Abenaki for an hour.
