Let’s Talk Owl! An Evening Chat and Woods Walk at Ndakinna
June 29 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Come to Ndakinna Education Center for an evening talk about the nocturnal raptors in your own backyard. You probably haven’t seen them, but you’ve most likely heard them at some point! They come in many shapes and sizes, and they all have their own story to tell.
Tim Demers would like to share his experiences working with Spotted Owls in California and talk about the owl species that we have in our area, and what we can do to help protect them. Weather permitting, we’ll go outside and see if we can catch a glimpse of these masters of the night. Bring your binoculars and a headlamp or flashlight (not too bright, 100 lumens is plenty).
This event is free and open to the public. A $7 donation for adults, $5 for children, and $12 donation for families is suggested.
